سفوف safūf A (from سفّ To take a medicine in a state of powder and dry) s. m. A medicine taken dry and unmixed, a powder (in opposi- tion to an electuary).

سوأر sūʼar शूकर S̱. s. m. A hog. سوأرکاگوشت sūʼar kā gosht, Pork. S. سوارتهہ स्वार्थी (comp. of स्व Own, and अर्थ Purpose) swārth, s. m. 1. Mundane affairs, desire, object, end, aim, &c. 2. Self-interest, selfishness.
