روپيه rūpiya S̱. (from روپا) s. m. A coin so called. The Calcutta Sicca Rupee is worth two shil- lings, and the silver of it is better than English standard silver by 2 3/4 pence the ounce. By the regulations of Government passed in May 1793, it should weigh 179 2/3 grains (Troy wt.). (The inflect. of the sing. and the plur. nom. is ge- nerally made روپيي rūpiye, rụpiye, rụpaʼe or رپي rupai or روپي rụpai).

رزاله rizāla A. (for رذاله ruẕāla) adj. Worst, after the best has been picked out; mean, vile, base.

روندهنا raundhnā H v. a. To trample on, to tread down, to ride over.
