رولنا rolnā H v. a. 1. To roll, to plane, to polish, to smooth. 2. To select, to pick. Saudā says: که جسکي خاک سي ليتي تهي خلق موتي رول Kijisḳī ḵẖāk se letī thī ḵẖalḳ motī rol, From the earth of which people picked out pearls.

رتواهي ratwāhī S̱. (from رات Night) s. f. 1. An attack in the night. 2. A concubine who comes at night.

رها rihā P adj. Released, disengaged.

ريشاٴيل rīshāʼīl P. (from ريش) adj. Having a long beard.

رياضتي riyāẓat-ī A. s. m. A practiser of auste- rities, a devotee.

رونا raunā H s. m. Bringing home a wife to consummate a marriage.

رهبر rah-bar P (comp. of ره Way, and part. act. of بردن To carry) s. m. A guide.

رج रजः raj S 1. s. f. Dust; the farina of flowers. 2. Menses. رج منڐت raj-manḍit, Covered with dust. 3. s. m. Quality or pro- perty of passion, which produces sensual de- sire, worldly coveting, pride, and falsehood, and is the cause of pain.

رخسار ruḵẖ-sār P s. m. The cheek, face.

راه राहु rāhu S s. m. 1. Typhon, or the dragon that is supposed to devour the sun or moon during an eclipse. 2. The ascending node.
