رعونت ruʼūﻌnat A (from رعن) s. f. Pride, haugh- tiness.

راس rās H s. f. 1. Reins of a bridle. 2. See اگاهي ugāhī. 3. Adoption. راس بٿهانا يا لينا rās-biṭhānā or -lenā, v. a. To adopt a son. راس آنا rās-ānā (perhaps, for راست آنا rāst ānā, see under راست) To be agreeable.

رضا raẓā A or prop. riẓā (Heb. To approve, be pleased) s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, as- sent, good pleasure, will. 2. Permission, leave. رضاجوئي riẓā-jo-ī, s. f. Seeking the good plea- sure or approbation. رضامند raẓā-mand, adj. Acquiescing, consenting, permitting, wishing, willing. رضامندي raẓāmand-ī, s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, willingness, good pleasure. 2. Permission.

رزاق razzāḳ A adj. (superl. of رزق) An epithet of the deity, provider of daily bread, supporter of all, providence.

راکهي rākhī रक्षिका S̱. s. f. An amulet, or string which Hindūs tie round their arms on a certain festival, held in the full moon of srāvaṇa or sāwan in honour of Kr̤ish̤ṇa.

رجهواڙ rijhwāṛ S̱. (from رجهانا) adj. Having the quality of being pleased.
