دماع dummāﻌ A (perhaps also dumāﻌ), s. m. Tears of the eye (from sickness or old age), the sap or water that drips from a vine in spring.

دشمني dushman-ī P s. f. Hatred, detestation, enmity, hostility. دشمني جاني dushmanī jānī, Deadly enmity.

دام dāma A v. past tense. 3d pers. sing. mas. (from دوم) May (it) be perpetual. دام دولته dāma daulatuhu, May his fortune or prosperity continue. دام ظله يا ظلـﮩم dāma-z̤illuhu or -z̤il- luhum, May his or their prosperity continue.

درڙه दृढ dr̤iṛh S adj. Firm, strong.

دهوبي dhob-ī S̱. s. m. A washer-man.

دکهيا dukh-iyā दुःखी S̱. adj. In distress or pain, unfortunate, poor, indigent, afflicted.

دلانا dulānā दोलन S̱. v. a. To agitate, to toss, to shake.

دودنا dodnā H v. a. To deny.
