دهلي dihlī P s. m. Name of a city, the metro- polis of Hindūstān. See دلي dillī.

دهوندهون کال dhūndhūṅ-kāl S̱. (धुंधुकार) s. m. 1. Heavy rain obscuring the whole heaven. 2. Gloomy weather, gloominess. 3. Desolateness. 4. Name of a game.

دلالي dallāl-ī A. s. f. 1. Brokerage. 2. The business of a broker.

ديونل dīʼū-nal S̱. s. m. (dakh.) Reed. S̱. H. ديونـﮩ‍ار dewan-hār, s. (dakh.) Giver.

درس dars A (Heb. ) s. m. Reading, learning to read, a lecture, a lesson. درس دينا dars denā, To teach to read, to instruct. درس لينا dars lenā, To read a lesson. S. درس दर्श (r. दृश See) daras or dars, s. m. 1. Sight, seeing. 2. The conjunction of sun and moon, or day of new moon.

داخلا dāḵẖilā A. (properly داخله from دخل) s. m. A receipt for money, &c.
