دشمن dushman P (Sans. दुष्ट Wicked, and मनः Mind) s. m. f. An enemy, adversary, foe. دشمن جاني dushman-i-jānī, A deadly foe. دشمن کام dushman-kām, A calamity (q. d. the wish of an enemy). دشمن کشي dushman-kush-ī, Killing of an enemy. دشمن گداز dushman-gudāz, Dis- solver or destroyer of enemies.

دلانا dilānā S̱. (causal of دينا) v. a. To cause to give, to occasion, to consign, to assign, to cause to yield, to cause to give up.

دقاق diḳāḳ A (more prop. duḳāḳ, from دقّ) 1. adj. Minute; intelligent. 2. s. m. A shred, chip. 3. daḳḳāḳ, A corn-grinder.

دهانا dhānā S̱. v. n. 1. (धावन) To run, to make haste; to toil and labour, to drudge. 2. (from ध्यान) To worship.

دوهاٴي dohāʼī S̱. or duhāʼī (from द्वौ Two, and हाहा Alas) s. f. 1. Crying out for justice, ex- clamation. 2. An oath, plaint (q. d. twice alas). دوهاٴي تهاٴي کرنا duhāʼī tihāʼī karnā, To make reiterated complaints.

دربسته dar-basta P (part. pass.) adj. Bound, fastened.

دهج بهنگ dhaj-bhang S̱. (ध्वजभंग i. e. ध्वज Membrum virile, and भंग Breaker) s. Impo- tency.

دگڙنا dagaṛnā H v. a. To disbelieve a true tes- timony.

داروڙي dārūṛī H s. f. Wine, spirituous liquor.

دد dad P s. A beast of prey, a forest full of game.
