خوزدي ḵẖụzadī P. (for خودزاذي from خود Self, and زاده Born) adj. f. Undressed, unadorned (a woman).

خم ḵẖam P 1. adj. Twisted, crooked, coiled, curved, bowed. 2. s. m. A coil, fold, ply, curl, ringlet, bend, curve, crook, bending, crookedness. 3. That part of a noose which encircles the neck. خم اندر خم ḵẖam andar ḵẖam or خم در خم ḵẖam dar ḵẖam, Twist within twist, curly, curling locks. خم ٿهونکنا بجانا يا مارنا ḵẖam-ṭhonknā, -bajānā, or -mārnā, v. a. Elegant, graceful. خم چوگان ḵẖam-i-chaugān, s. m. The bat or instrument with which the game of چوگان chaugān is played. خم دار ḵẖam-dār, adj. Twisted, curled, bent, crooked, curved.

خراباتي ḵẖarābāt-ī A. s. m. A haunter of taverns and brothels, a rake, a debauchee.

خل ḵẖall A s. m. Vinegar.

خصور ḵẖuṣūr A s. plur. (of خصر) Middles of men, waists.

خونين ḵẖūn-īn P adj. Bloody, of the colour of blood.

خله ḵẖala P s. A long pole with which they im- pel a boat, perhaps a rudder, trifles, idle talk, any thing which penetrates or goes down in a place, as a needle, &c., a wind causing sharp pain in the belly, a pain that comes suddenly in the side and joints, any thing that passes away by degrees or slowly, a written document signed by a judge.

خليرا ḵẖalerā A. (from خال or خاله) adj. Descend-

خراش ḵẖarāsh P (from خراشيدن) 1. s. f. m. Scratching, scraping, excoriation. 2. (in com- pos.) part. act. Scratching, lacerating, scraping, clawing.

خور ḵẖụr P 1. adj. Worthy. 2. s. m. The sun. 3. or ḵẖor, Food, eating. 4. part. act. (from خوردن) in compos. Eating, drinking, eater, drinker, feeder.
