چنبري chambar-ī P adj. Round, circular.

چهانٿ chhānṭ H (from چهانٿنا) s. f. 1. Refuse. 2. Parings, &c. selection, fashion of clothes. چهانٿ کرنا chhānṭ karnā, To vomit, to disgorge. چهانٿ لينا chhānṭ lenā, To elect, choose. چهانٿ چهٿاو chhānṭ-chhaṭāʼo, s. m. Retrench- ment.

چورنگ chaurang चतुरंग S̱. s. m. 1. A prac- tice of the sword exercise. 2. Cutting the four legs of an animal off at one blow. چورنگ کاٿنا chaurang kāṭnā, v. a. To cut off the four legs of an animal at one blow. چورنگ مارنا chau- rang mārnā, To lose the use of the limbs by illness.

چک chak H s. m. A shepherd or goatherd.

چومکها chau-mukh-ā S̱. (चतुर्मुख Four-faced) 1. adj. Having four burners, &c. (a lamp). 2. s. m. A lamp-stand with four partitions. 3. A kind of پٿا paṭā, q. v.

چنـﮩـ chinh चिन्ह S̱. s. m. Mark, spot, stain, scar, sign, symbol, token by which any thing is known, feature, signature. چنـﮩـ چڙهانا chinh chaṛhānā, To stigmatize.

چاره chāra P s. m. Remedy, cure, expedient, help, aid. چاره سازي chāra-sāz-ī, s. f. Preparing a remedy, the using means for remedy, reme- dying. چاره گري chāra-gar-ī, s. f. Remedying, curing, cure.

چنگي chang-ī P s. m. One who plays on the چنگ chang, q. v. A harper, &c.

چهيدنا chhed-nā S̱. (from छिद्र) v. a. To pierce, bore, perforate, penetrate.
