چکنا chiknā S̱. (चिक्कण) adj. 1. Clean, po- lished, smooth. 2. Beautiful (persons). 3. Greasy, oily, fat (as meat), glossy, sleek, slip- pery. 4. Incontinent, lewd, wanton. چکنا باسن يا گهڙا بنا chiknā-bāsan or -ghaṛā bannā, To be incontinent, incorrigible, deaf to admonition. چکنا چاندا chiknā-chāndā (चिक्कणचंद्र) adj. Beautiful. چکني جورو chiknī jorū, s. f. A slip- pery wife. چکني سپاري chiknī supārī, s. f. A kind of betel-nut prepared by boiling. چکني صورت chiknī ṣūrat, Prosperous, affluent, flourishing. چکني مٿي chiknī-miṭṭī (चिक्कणमृत्तिका) s. f. Clay.

چوڙچوپٿ chauṛ chaupaṭ H adj. Abandoned, vitious, damaged.

چسکر chusakkar S̱. (from چوسنا) s. m. One in the habit of sucking; (met.) a tippler.

چنگهاڙا chinghāṛā S̱. s. m. See چنگهاڙ.

چکس chakkas H s. m. A perch for birds (par- ticularly falcons), a roost.

چهٿکهيلي chhuṭkhelī S̱. s. f. Dissoluteness.

چمتکاري चमत्कारी chamatkār-ī S adj. Asto- nishing, sagacious, acute.

چنانا chunānā H (caus. of چنا chunnā) v. a. To cause to pick, choose, arrange, put in order, &c. چناليتا chunā lenā, v. a. 1. To plait (cloth). 2. To kill by building a person into a wall.
