چنور chaṅwar S̱. (चमर or चामर) s. m. The tail of the Bos grunniens, a species of ox, used to whisk off flies, &c. See چونري chauṅrī.

چلتري chalitrī चरित्री S̱. adj. Gay, sportive, changeable, inconstant, affected.

چمل chammal H s. m. A beggarʼs cup.

چيتل chītal चित्रल S̱. 1. adj. Spotted, va- riegated, speckled (colour). 2. s. m. See چيتا chītā.

چورنا chūrnā चूर्णन S̱. v. a. To reduce to very small pieces or to atoms.

چکريٿها chakreṭhā H adj. See چکيٿها chakeṭhā.

چنچلانا chanchalānā S̱. (from चंचल) v. n. To be playful, wanton or restless.

چاچر chāchar H s. m. 1. The pole round which they play at the festival of the holī. 2. A fair or assemblage of people collected after the holī.

چيتنا chetnā S̱. 1. v. a. (चेतन r. चित Think, be sensible) To remember, think of, advise, reflect, be aware, perceive. 2. To recover the senses, to be roused. 3. s. f. (चेतना) Action.

چبانا chabānā चर्वण S̱. v. a. To chew, gnaw, champ, masticate, bite (the lip). چبا چباکي بات کرني chabā chabāke bāt karnī, To speak with study or preparation; also, without reserve, or haughtily and scornfully.
