چونسر chauṅsar चतुश्शारि S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a game, the same as چوسر chausar. 2. A garland of flowers.

چهت chhat छत्र S̱. s. f. A roof, a cloth stretched across the roof of a room, a platform. چهت بنانا پاٿنا يا لگانا chhat-banānā, -pāṭnā or -la- gānā, v. a. To ceil, to cover the inner roof of a building.

چلمن chilman H s. f. See چلون chilwan.

چٿ chiṭ H s. f. Rag, scrap. چٿ اکهڙنا chiṭ ukhaṛnā, v. n. To splinter or have small pieces knocked off (furniture).

چهچهلي chhuchhlī H s. f. The play of a dog or cat with game, &c.

چاره chāra P s. m. Remedy, cure, expedient, help, aid. چاره سازي chāra-sāz-ī, s. f. Preparing a remedy, the using means for remedy, reme- dying. چاره گري chāra-gar-ī, s. f. Remedying, curing, cure.

چنپا champā चंपक S̱. s. m. The name of a flower-tree. See چنپک. (Michelia cham- paca). چنپاکلي champā-kalī, s. f. A necklace, each piece of which resembles the unblown flowers of the champā. چنپا کيلا champā-kelā, A kind of plantain. H.S̱. چنپت هونا champat honā, v. n. See چمپت هونا champat honā.

چمکتا chamaktā H (from چمکنا) adj. Bright, glittering.

چدکڙ chudakkaṛ H s. m. A salacious person, qui coitu frequenti fruitur.
