جنلوک जनलोक jana-lok S s. m. One of the seven lokas or divisions of the world; the re- gion inhabited by pious men after their decease.

جامه jāma P s. m. A garment, robe, gown, vest. جامه خانه jāma-ḵẖāna, s. m. A wardrobe, a chest or sack for holding clothes. جامه داني jāma-dānī, s. f. Portmanteau. جامه زيب jā- ma-zeb, adj. Becoming oneʼs clothes. جامه وار jāma-wār, 1. adj. Fit to make clothes of, suffi- cient for a jāma. 2. s. m. A flowered sheet or shawl, a kind of chintz.

جون javan S (यवन) s. m. A Greek, a Muhammadan or European invader of India. See s̱. يمن yaman.

ججيا jijiyā H s. f. 1. A sister. 2. A dug, a a breast.

جگنو jugnū H s. m. 1. The fire-fly. (Lampyris). 2. A jewel worn about the neck.

جمعه jumʼaﻌ A s. m. Friday (on which day Mu- salmāns assemble to pray at the great mosque). A. S̱. جمعه رات jumʼaﻌ-rāt, s. f. Thursday.
