جلوا jilwā A. (or جلوه) s. m. The meeting of the bride and bridegroom (in presence of the rela- tions). جلوي کاگيت jilwe kā gīt, s. m. Epi- thalamium. ¶ jalwā, see جلوه jalwa.

جاؤ jāʼo S̱. (from جانا) s. Going.

جهڙوانا jhaṛwānā H (caus. of جهاڙنا) v. a. To cause others to sweep.

جوڙا jūṛā S̱. s. m. 1. (जड) Cold. 2. (जटा) The hair done up in a knot behind. 3. The hinder part of a turband.

جوا jawā S̱. s. m. 1. (यव) Mark in the joints of the fingers. 2. (जवा) Name of a flower, China rose. (Hibiscus rosa Sinensis).

جورو jorū H s. f. A wife. (Sans. जाया). S. جوڙ जोड (r. जुड Bind, join) joṛ, s. m. Junction, joint, joining, connexion, conjunction, a patch, a seam, society. جوڙدينا joṛ denā, To cast up, to add the sum. جوڙتوڙ joṛ-toṛ, s. m. Contrivance, arrangement, mechanism, joint, joining: see, also, جوڙ جاڙ.توڙ joṛ-jāṛ, s. m. Savings, collecting by small quantities, scraping together.

جبن jubun A s. m. Pusillanimity.

جگـﮩر jagʼhar जागरणं S̱. s. m. Wakefulness (occasioned by apprehension or disease). 2. Coughing at night, vigils, vespers.

جگتيتل जगतीतल jagatītal S s. m. The world, the earth, sublunary things.
