ارغنون arg̠ẖanūn G (*organon) s. m. An organ.

ارغوان arg̠ẖawān P s. m. A plant whose flowers and fruit are of a beautiful red; a red colour.

ارغواني arg̠ẖawān-ī P adj. Of a red colour, pur- ple.

ارگا argā अलग्न S̱. adj. Separate, apart, distinct.

ارگانا argā-nā S̱. 1. v. a. To separate, to put on one side. 2. v. n. To be separated, to be set apart.

ارگجا argajā H s. m. Name of a perfume of a yellowish colour and compounded of several scented ingredients.

ارگجي argaj-ī H adj. Dyed with argajā (as gar- ments, &c.).

ارگني arganī H s. m. A rope stretched, or a wooden rod or bamboo placed horizontally, for drying clothes on or for similar purposes.

ارگها arghā आर्घ्य S̱. s. m. A vessel shaped like a boat, used by the Hindūs for making li- bation in their devotions.
