اوگاه augāh H adj. Deep.

اگال ugāl S̱. (उत् and r. गल Eat) s. m. That which is spit out after chewing any thing (es- pecially, betel leaf). آپ کا اگال میرا ادهار āp kā ugāl merā adhār, Your worshipʼs leavings are my nourishment; i e. You, Sir, are my support and benefactor. S̱. P. اگالدان ugāl-dān, s. m. A spitting-box.

اگانا ugānā S̱. (caus. of اگنا) v. a. To cause to grow, &c.

اگاهنا ugāhnā S̱. (उत् and r. ग्रह Take) v. a. To gather, to collect, to accumulate.

اگاهي ugāhī S̱. (from اگاهنا q. v.) s. f. 1. Usury. 2. The trade of lending money on interest of one fourth, the payment of which is received by in- stalments.

بگارا bugārā P. (corrupt. of بغاره) s. m. A large hole or breach.

جگال jugāl युगल S̱. adj. See جگل jugal.

جگالنا jugālnā H v. a. To chew the cud.

جگالي jugālī H s. f. The cud.

جگانا jugānā H v. a. 1. To be careful of, to keep with care. 2. To lend labour, i. e. To assist another in his work, in expectation of similar as- sistance being returned hereafter.

دگدگاٿ dugdugāṭ H s. (dakh.) See دگدگاهٿ dagdagāhaṭ (?).

چوگان chaugān H s. m. A plain.

چوگان chaugān P s. m. 1. A game resembling cricket (or tennis) but played on horseback. 2. The bat or club with which the game is played.

چوگاني chaugānī H s. f. A straight ḥuḳḳa-snake or tube for smoking through. S̱. P. چوگرد chau-gird, adv. On all sides. s. Neigh- bourhood, district.

چگانا chugānā H (caus. of چگنا chugnā) v. a. To cause to peck.
