اگال ugāl : اگال ugāl S̱. (उत् and r. गल Eat) s. m. That which is spit out after chewing any thing (es- pecially, betel leaf). آپ کا اگال میرا ادهار āp kā ugāl merā adhār, Your worshipʼs leavings are my nourishment; i e. You, Sir, are my support and benefactor. S̱. P. اگالدان ugāl-dān, s. m. A spitting-box.

آدهاري ādhār-i S̱. (in compos.) An eater; as, دوده آدهاري dūdh-ādhārī, One who lives on milk. ماس آدهاري mās-ādhārī, Flesh-eater, carnivorous.

آفت āfat A s. f. Calamity, misfortune, wretch- edness. (Sans. आपत्). آفت رسیده āfat- rasīda, or آفت زده āfat-zada, Overtaken or oppressed by calamity; unfortunate, wretched.
