جهل jhal S̱. (ज्वल Flame) s. f. 1. Passion, an- ger, jealousy. 2. The heat from a fire.

جناجات janā-jāt S̱. adv. Man by man, one by one (person).

جنگم jangam H s. m. A kind of faḳīr who has matted hair and rings a bell. S. جنگم जंगम (r. गम Go, move) jangam, adj. Removable, moveable, in motion, mendicant.

جيوڙا jiyūṛā S̱. or jīwṛā, s. m. 1. (जीव) Life, soul, sweetheart, beloved. 2. (जीविका) An- nual wages to washermen and others.
