تحصيل taḥsīl A (inf. ii. of حصول) s. f. 1. Gain, acquisition, profit, attainment, learning. 2. Col- lection (particularly, of revenues). Pl. تحصيلات taḥṣīlāt, Collections, acquisitions. تحصيل کرنا taḥṣīl karnā, To acquire, to gain, to learn, to collect (revenue, &c.). A.P. تحصيلدار taḥṣīl-dār, s. m. A collector, a tax- gatherer. A.H. تحصيلنا taḥṣīl-nā, v. a. 1. To collect, to ga- ther a tax. 2. To oppress, to afflict. A.P. تحصيل داري taḥṣīl-dār-ī, s. f. Collectorship, tax-gathering.

رسمسيلا rasmasīlā S̱. adj. (little used) See رسمسانا.

رسيلا rasīlā S̱. (from रस Juice) adj. 1. Juicy, luscious. 2. Voluptuous, rakish.

سسيل सुशील su-sīl S adj. Well disposed, good- natured, of good manners, polite.

سيل sīl शीतल S̱. s. f. Cold, dampness.

سيل शील sīl S s. m. Nature, quality, disposi- tion; good conduct or disposition, steady and uniform observance of law and morals. آنکهون مين سيل هونا ānkhoṅ meṅ sīl honā, To be polite, generous, &c.

سيلا sīl-ā S̱. adj. Damp, cool.

سيلوان शीलवान् sīl-wān S adj. Of good or amiable disposition, benevolent, well-conducted.

سيلي sīlī P s. f. A blow with the edge of the open hand on the neck. (Burhān Ḳāt̤.).

نسيلا nasīlā A. adj. 1. (from نس) Veined. 2. (from نسل) Of good breed.

وسيله wasīla A s. m. 1. Affinity, propinquity. 2. Cause, conjuncture, occasion. 3. Support, prop. 4. Means (of effecting any thing), me- diation, intervention, interposition, patronage. وسيله دار wasīla-dār, A client, dependant. وسيله داري wasīla-dār-ī, Clientship, dependance.

گهسيلا ghasīlā S̱. (from گهاس q. v.) adj. Grassy.
