ربيع الاول rabīʼuﻌ-ḷ-auwal A The third month, and ربيع الاخر rabīʼuﻌ-lʼāḵẖir or ربيع الثاني rabīʼuﻌ-s̤- s̤ānī, The fourth month of the Muhammadan year. The 9th and 12th days of the former are festivals.

رکهنا rakhnā S̱. or rakkhnā (रक्षण r. रक्ष Guard, keep) v. a. روم रोम rom S s. m. Down, small hair of the body.

راجپوتي rāj-pūt-ī S̱. (from راجپوت) s. f. Courage, prowess in war.

راد rād H s. f. Pus, matter. S. رادها राधा (r. राध Become perfect) rādhā, n. prop. The name of Kr̤ish̤ṇaʼs mistress, who is also called राधिका.

رباطي ribāt̤-ī A. s. m. The keeper of a ribāt̤.

رضا raẓā A or prop. riẓā (Heb. To approve, be pleased) s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, as- sent, good pleasure, will. 2. Permission, leave. رضاجوئي riẓā-jo-ī, s. f. Seeking the good plea- sure or approbation. رضامند raẓā-mand, adj. Acquiescing, consenting, permitting, wishing, willing. رضامندي raẓāmand-ī, s. f. 1. Consent, acquiescence, willingness, good pleasure. 2. Permission.

رواني rawān-ī P s. f. Going, proceeding, running, flowing; fluency, reading.

راضي rāẓī A (part. act. of رضو Heb. ) adj. Satisfied, contented, agreed, pleased, willing, approving; approver. ¶ s. f. (dakh.) Good pleasure: see رضا raẓā. راضي برضا rāẓī-ba-riẓā, Resigned to the will of God. راضي نامه rāẓī- nāma, s. m. An acknowledgment of a cause being finally settled, given by the plaintiff: the defendant gives a صافي نامه ṣāfī-nāma, A ge- neral release. راضي کرنا rāẓī karnā, To content, satisfy, please, gratify. راضي هونا rāẓī honā, To consent, acquiesce, assent, accede, agree, be content, deign.
