منہار manihār S̱. (comp. of मणिबंध A bracelet, and कार Maker) s. m. A person who makes or sells (chūṛīs) the glass bracelets, which the women wear on their wrists.

نہال nihāl P s. m. A young plant, shoot, sucker, sapling.

نہال nihāl H adj. Exalted, pleased, happy.

نہالي nihāl-ī P s. f. 1. A young plant. 2. A kind of quilt, small carpet, a cushion.

نہالچه nihāl-cha P s. m. 1. Dim. of نہال q. v. 2. A quilt, wrapper, coverlet, &c. mattress, cushion.

نہان nihān P adj. Latent, hid, concealed, clan- destine.

نہاني nihān-ī P s. f. Concealment. adv. Se- cretly. adj. Occult, secret. اندام نہاني andām- i-nihānī, The private parts.

نہايت nihāyat S̱. (from نہي) 1. s. f. The extreme, extremity, end, bound, limit, boundary. 2. Excess. 3. adj. Very much, extreme, exces- sive. 4. Remarkable. 5. adv. At the utmost, extremely, exceeding, very, at the end, at last.

نہاٴي nihāʼī H s. f. An anvil.
