ايمن eman H s. m. A musical mode.

ايمه aima A. s. m. (for aʼịmma, plur. of امام but used to denote) Land given as a reward or fa- vour by the king at a very low rent, a fief. (When no rent is paid, the land is called لااخراج lā ḵẖirāj). Charity lands. ايمه دار aima-dār, One who holds land in ايمه aima, a feoffee.

ايمه aʼịmma A s. plur. of امام imām, q. v. نذرايمه naẕr-i-aʼịmma, A grant of land, &c. to the people who attend at the tomb of a saint.

تحريمه taḥrīma A (inf. ii. of حرم q. v.) s. m. The commencement of prayer (as, worldly thoughts are then forbidden).

تيمم tayammum A (inf. v. of يمّ) s. m. Purifying before prayer with sand or dust, when water can- not be had.

جيمنا jīmnā S (जेमन) v. a. To eat.

حکيمي ḥakīm-ī A. s. f. The practice of medicine.

خيمه ḵẖaima A or ḵẖīma (from خام) s. m. A tent, pavilion. خيمه دوز ḵẖīma-doz (خيمه and the part. act. of دوختن To sew) A tent-maker. خيمه کرنا ḵẖaima karnā, To encamp. خيمه گاه ḵẖīma-gāh, s. f. A camp. د

دايمي dāʼịm-ī A. adj. Perpetual, continual, lasting, durable, standing.

دهيمي dhīm-ī H s. (dakh.) See دهيم dhīm.

رايمني rāʼemanī H s. A kind of rice (in the husk).

رقيمه raḳīma A (from رقم) s. m. An epistle, note, letter.

سراسيمه sar-āsīma P (سر Head, and آسيمه Asto- nished, confused) adj. 1. Amazed, confounded, distracted, disturbed. 2. Distressed.

سيمل semal शाल्मलि S̱. s. m. A coarse kind of cotton, or the tree producing it. (Bombax heptaphyllum).

سيمي sīm-ī P adj. Of silver, silver, silvery.
