دهنوي dhunwī S̱. (from धनुष्) s. f. The bow with which cotton is carded.

دمڙي damṛī S̱. (from द्रम्म) s. f. The eighth part of a paisā. دمڙي کي تين تين هونا damṛī ke tīn tīn honā, To be ruined, demolished.

درج durj A s. m. f. A little casket in which they deposit gems.

ديوگيري dew-gīrī देवगिरी S̱. s. f. Name of a musical mode, or rāginī.

دهني धनी dhan-ī S 1. adj. Rich, wealthy, for- tunate. 2. An epithet of the deity. 3. s. m. Owner, proprietor.
