ستم sitam P s. m. Tyranny, oppression, injury, violence, outrage, vexation. ستمديد sitam-dīd or ستمديده sitam-dīda, adj. Oppressed. ستم رسيده sitam-rasīda, adj. Oppressed. ستمزده sitam-zada, adj. Oppressed. ستم ظريفي sitam- z̤arīf-ī, Elegance or ingeniousness in tyranny. ستمکش sitam-kash, adj. Oppressive, oppressed. ستم کشته sitam-kushta, Killed by oppression. violently slain. ستم کشي sitam-kash-ī, s. f. En- durance of oppression. ستم ور sitam-war, adj. Oppressive, tyrannical; oppressor.

سکري sikrī H s. f. A staple (of a lock).

سقف saḳf A s. f. 1. Roof, ceiling, canopy. 2. The sky. 3. A platform.

سنپات sanpāt S or सन्निपात sannipāt, s. m. The name of a disease in which the body is seized with universal chilliness, Deliquium. (It is explained by the Hindū physicians to be that, in which the three humours, bile, phlegm, and atrabilis are corrupted).

سرانجام sar-anjām P (سر and انجام End) s. m. 1. Apparatus, utensils, furniture, goods and chattels, stores, materials, ingredients, requisites. 2. Conclusion, end, accomplishment. سرانجام کرنا sar-anjām karnā, To accomplish, to finish: to prepare. سرانجام هونا sar-anjām honā, To be accomplished or finished.
