جيوڙا jiyūṛā S̱. or jīwṛā, s. m. 1. (जीव) Life, soul, sweetheart, beloved. 2. (जीविका) An- nual wages to washermen and others.

جنتا jantā यंत्र S̱. s. m. An instrument for drawing wire.

جهنڐولا jhanḍūlā H adj. With thick handsome foliage (a tree), with a fine head of hair (a child).

جاگابندي jāgā-band-ī S̱. (r. जागृ Wake, and r. बन्ध Bind) s. f. Drowsiness, sleepiness.

جراحت jarāḥat A (correctly jiraḥat) s. f. A wound, a sore.

At the time when, when, since. جب لگ jab-lag, adv. till when, whilst, as long as. جب نه تب jab na tab, adv. Now and then, perpetually. جبـﮩ‍ي jab-hī, adv. At the very time.
