The head of any body, as of guides, harkāras, &c. جمعداري jamﻌdār-ī, s. f. The business of a jamﻌ-dār. جمع کرنا jamﻌkarnā, To collect, amass, gather together, add together, assemble, heap. جمع وخرچ jamﻌ-o-ḵẖarch, s. m. Ac- count of receipt and disbursement, account cur- rent. جمع وخرچ کرنا jamﻌ-o-ḵẖarch karnā, To make up, or balance an account. جمع واصلباقي jamﻌ-wāṣil-bāḳī, An account stating payments periodically due, with the amount received and the arrears. جمع هونا jamﻌ honā, v. n. To be collected, to assemble, to flock.

جامدار jāma-dār P s. m. Keeper of a wardrobe, guard. جامدار خانه jāma-dār ḵẖāna, A ward- robe.
