جوگن jogin योगिनी S̱. s. f. Female of جوگي jogī, q. v.

جهوٿ jhūṭ S̱. (जुष्ट or उच्छिष्ट) adj. False. s. m. Lie, falsehood. جهوٿهـ بولنا jhūṭh bolnā, To lie, to tell a lie, speaking falsehood. جهوٿهـ موٿهـ jhūṭh mūṭh, Lie, lying, falsehood; falsely.

جهومنا jhūmnā H v. n. To wave, to move the head up and down, to slumber, to move loose, to ga- ther (the clouds).

جم jam S (यम) s. m. The regent of worlds below; or death, and judge of departed souls. جم دوت यमदूत jam-dūt, Messenger of Jam or of death. جم ديا jam-diyā (यमदीप) s. m. A candle or illumination sacred to Jam, lighted on the 13th of kārtik, kr̤ishṇ paksh̤, i. e. three days before the dewālī.
