جمدهر jam-dhar S̱. (from यम Death, Jam, and धार Sharp edge) s. m. A dagger.

جمد jamd A s. m. Congelation, connexion.

جعفر jaﻌfar A s. A river; a proper name.

جهول jhol H s. m, 1. Puckering or wrinkling (as, of ill made clothes). 2. A litter, brood, farrow, hatch, a birth.

جهلي jhillī H s. f. 1. A thin skin, a pellicle. 2. The membrane in which the fœtus is en- veloped (secundines). 3. The caul (omentum).

جهکنا jhuknā H v. n. 1. To nod, to bow, to stoop, to be bent, especially downwards (as, the bough of a tree), to be tilted. 2. To be angry, to be perplexed.
