تشنه tishna P adj. Thirsty. (Sans. तृष्णज्). تشنه خون tishna-i-ḵẖūn, Blood-thirsty. تشنه کرنا tishna karnā, To make thirsty; (met.) to create desire, to tempt. تشنه کام tishna-kām or تشنه لب tishna-lab, adj. Thirsty. تشنه لبي tishna- lab-ī, s. f. Thirstiness, the state of having parched lips.

تومان tomān P s. m. 1. A myriad, 10,000. 2. A sum of money equal to 10,000 Arabic silver drachmas (which are about one third less than those of the Greeks): also, a sum equal to fifteen dollars and a half. 3. Districts, into which a kingdom is divided, each being sup- posed to furnish 10,000 fighting men. تلتلانا tultulānā H v. n. To become soft (from moisture, as a mud wall in the rains, as a sore or bile when suppurating, or as a fruit getting ripe).
