تار tār P s. m. f. 1. A thread. 2. A wire, the string of a musical instrument, a chord. 3. Darkness, obscurity. 4. The warp or threads placed lengthwise in weaving a piece of cloth. تارباندهنا tār bāndhnā, To continue or repeat an action without interruption. تارٿوٿنا tār ṭūṭnā, To be disjointed, to be separated. تارعنکبوت tār-i-aﻌnkabūt, Cobweb. تارکش tār-kash, s. m.

توسنا tūsnā H v. n. (dakh.) To wither, fade.

تمـﮩيد tamhīd A (inf. ii. of مـﮩد) s. f. Disposition, arrangement, settlement, management, confirma- tion, preliminary, preamble, preface, preparative, introduction. تمـﮩيدکرنا tamhīd karnā, To dis- pose, to premise, &c.

ترقب taraḳḳub A (inf. v. of رقب) s. m. Con- templating, expectation, hoping.

تارنا tārnā तारण S̱. v. a. To free, to rid, to exempt from further transmigration, to absolve from sin, to save.

تهکنا thaknā स्थग्न S̱. v. n. To be wearied, to tire, to fag, to be fatigued.
