تهمبا thambā S̱. (स्तंभ) s. m. A pillar, a post.

تپي tapī S̱. s. m. A devotee, a worshipper. See تپا tapā, and تپسي tapsī.

تودري todrī P s. f. The seed of mallows.

تريندا tirendā S̱. (r. तृ Float) s. m. A float.

ترسل tarassul A (inf. v. of رسل) s. Acting gen- tly, being distinct or proceeding slowly (in reading).

تهرانا thirānā S̱. (from स्थिर) v. n. To settle (as, liquor).

تيچهن tīchhan तीक्ष्ण S̱. adj. See تيکها tīkhā.

تفوق tafauwuḳ A (inf. v. of فوق) s. m. 1. Pre- tending to a superiority over others. 2. Doing any thing by degrees.

تحرير taḥrīr A (inf. ii. of حرّ) s. f. 1. Writing correctly, writing, description. 2. Manumission. 3. adj. Written, dated. (Plur. تحارير taḥārīr). تحريراقليدس taḥrīr-i-uḳledas, Euclidʼs elements. تحريرکرنا taḥrīr karnā, To write, describe, re- cord. تحريرهونا taḥrīr honā, To be written, &c.
