تنزل tanazzul A (inf. v. of نزل) s. m. Descent, declining slowly, diminution; condescending. تنزل کرنا tanazzul karnā, To descend.

تفاول tafāwul A (inf. vi. of فال) s. m. See تفول.

تجرد tajarrud A (inf. v. of جرد) s. m. Living in solitude, solitude, celibacy.

تلتلانا taltalānā H v. n. To shake. S̱.H. تل چاولي til chāʼolī, s. f. 1. Mixture com- posed of rice and sesamum seeds. 2. A mixture of black and gray hairs in the head. S̱.H. تل چٿا til-chaṭṭā (from تيل Oil, and چاٿنا To lick) s. m. A cock-roach (Blatta).

تانڐو तांडव tānḍav S s. m. Dancing, especially with violent gesticulation. (Particularly applied to the frantick dance of the god Siva and his votaries).

تشنه tishna P adj. Thirsty. (Sans. तृष्णज्). تشنه خون tishna-i-ḵẖūn, Blood-thirsty. تشنه کرنا tishna karnā, To make thirsty; (met.) to create desire, to tempt. تشنه کام tishna-kām or تشنه لب tishna-lab, adj. Thirsty. تشنه لبي tishna- lab-ī, s. f. Thirstiness, the state of having parched lips.

ترنج turunj A s. m. A citron. P. ترنجبين or ترنگبين taranjubīn or tarangubīn, s. m. 1. Manna (produced from the Hedysarum alhagi). 2. (by this name some call) Honey mixed with lime-juice, &c.

تمر tamr A s. m. A date. تمرهندي tamr-i-hindī, s. f. A tamarind.

تولا tolā तोल S̱. s. m. A denomination of weight, consisting of a number of māshas, which varies in different parts of India.
