تسلي tasallī A (inf. v. of سلي or سلا Heb. He was quiet) s. f. Consolation, comfort, so- lace. تسلي بخش tasallī-baḵẖsh, adj. Con- solatory, comforting. تسلي دينا tasallī denā, To comfort, to assure, to secure, to animate, to exhilarate, to console. تسلي هونا tasallī honā, To be consoled or comforted.

تنعيم tanʼīﻌm A (inf. ii. of نعم) s. m. 1. Bestowing abundance. 2. Saying نعم yes (in confirmation of a debt, &c.).

تارتميه तारतम्य tārtamya S s. m. Distinction, discrimination.

تفريد tafrīd A (inf. ii. of فرد) s. f. Separation from others, retirement from the world (espe- cially, for the sake of devotion), the being unique in science, &c.

تيسرا tīsrā तृतीय S̱. adj. Third. تيسري tīsre, In the third place, thirdly.

تهتکارنا thutkārnā H v. n. To drive away scorn fully.

ترک وتاز turk-o-tāz P s. m. See ترکتاز.

تل तिल til S s. m. 1. The seed of the Sesa- mum, or name of the plant (Sesamum orientale). 2. A mole on the face. 3. A moment, an in- stant. تلون مين تيل نـﮩين کـﮩنا tiloṅ meṅ tel nahīṅ kahnā, (lit. to say there is no oil in the seeds of Sesamum, is) To say snow is black, to deny the most evident truth.

ترلا tarlā H 1. s. m. A kind of bamboo. 2. adj. Lower, nethermost.

تابه tāba P s. m. A fryingpan, a skillet. S. تاپ ताप (r. तप Burn) tāp, 1. s. m. Warmth, heat. 2. s. f. Fever. تاپ تلي tāp-tillī, s. f. See تاب تلي under تاب tāb.
