تارخ tāraḵẖ H s. (dakh.) Root of the tongue. تارخ کوجيب لين لگانا tāraḵẖ ko jīb naiṅ lagānā, To chatter or talk much.

تهل تهل thul thul H adv. Gently falling or drop- ping (as water from a small height). See چلچل chulchul.

تصريح taṣrīh A (inf. ii. of صرح) s. f. Evidence, manifestation, explanation, narration.

تکلي tuklī H (dimin. of تکلا) s. f. A (childʼs) kite.

تـﮩمت tuhmat A s. f. Suspicion of guilt, false ac- cusation, calumny, slander, falsely charging one with a crime, aspersion, imputation. تـﮩمت لگاني or کرني or ديني tuhmat-lagānī, or -karnī, or -denī, To belie, to calumniate, slander, to asperse, to traduce, to accuse falsely. A.H. تـﮩمتي tuhmat-ī, adj. 1. Suspicious. 2. Ig- nominious.

توفيق taufīḳ A (inf. ii. of وفق) s. f. The com- pletion of oneʼs wishes, the divine grace, the favour of God, prosperity. (Plur. توفيقات tau- fīḳāt).

تپاس tapās S̱. (r. तप Shine, burn) s. f. 1. Sun- shine, the sunbeams. 2. Toil, labour.

توکل tawakkul A (inf. v. of وکل) s. m. Trust in God, reliance, faith, resignation (to God).
