تذکير taẕkīr A (inf. ii. of ذکر) s. f. 1. Masculine gender. 2. Commemoration, bringing to me- mory, mentioning, recording, admonishing.

تهک thak H s. m. Clot, lump (congealed). تهکي کي تهکي thakke ke thakke, Congealed, thick, conglomerated.

تلخا talḵẖā P s. m. 1. Grain parched and pound- ed and then mixed up into a paste with water. 2. The gall-bladder.

تقاضا taḳāẓā A (for تقاضي inf. vi. of قضي) s. m. Dunning, exacting, exigence, urgency, importu- nity. تقاضاي سن taḳāẓā-i-sinn, The customs or habits of different ages, as of childhood, youth, manhood, &c. تقاضاي شديد taḳāẓā-i-shadīd, Inexorable dunning. A.H. تفاضائي taḳāẓā-ī, adj. Importunate, urging, solicitous.

تلسي तुलसी tulsī S s. f. A small shrub held in veneration by the Hindūs, holy basil (Ocymum sanctum). Tulsī or Tulasī was a nymph be- loved by Kr̤ish̤ṇa and by him metamorphosed into this plant. تلسي داس tulsī-dās, n. p. Name of a Gosāʼīṅ. تلسي دانه tulsī-dāna, A gold or- nament. تلسي کاهيرا tulsī kā hīra, Beads made of the wood of the tulsī plant.

تت tat S̱. or tatt (तत्व) s. m. An element, a principle, the essence.
