تنوين tanwīn A (inf. ii. of نون) s. f. Nūnation, doubling the vowel with the final letter of a word in writing (which in pronunciation gives such vowel the additional sound of ن ṉ; as, تخميناً taḵẖmīnaṉ, اتفاقاً ittifāḳaṉ).

تهپک thapak H s. A pat, a tap.

ترک tark A s. m. Abandoning, abandonment, omission, leaving, deserting, abdication. ترک ادب tark-i-adab, Disrespect. ترک کرنا tark karnā, To abandon, leave, forsake, leave off, quit, omit, cease, desert, resign.

تهنبنا thambnā S̱. same as تهمنا thamnā, q. v.

تيمم tayammum A (inf. v. of يمّ) s. m. Purifying before prayer with sand or dust, when water can- not be had.

تهک تهک thak thak H adj. Very wet, drenched.

تجزي tajazzī A (inf. v. of جزأ) s. f. Separating into small pieces, analysis.

تشنج tashannuj A (inf. v. of شنج) s. m. The cramp, convulsion, spasm.

تـﮩديد tahdīd A (inf. ii. of هدّ) s. f. Terrifying, threatening, menace, threat.

تمسک tamassuk A (inf. v. of مسک) s. m. A note of hand, bond, obligation, receipt.
