تردوش त्रिदोष त्रि Three, and दोष Evil, fault tri-dosh̤ S. s. m. Effervescence of the three humours, viz. phlegm, bile, and atrabilis.

تـﮩوع tahauwuﻌ A (inf. v. of هوع) s. m. Sickness at stomach, inclination to vomit.

ترجمه tarjama A or tarjuma, s. m. Translation, interpretation. ترجمه کرنا tarjama karnā, To translate, to interpret. ترجمه نويس tarjuma- navīs, s. m. A translator. ترجمه هونا tarjama honā, To be interpreted or translated.

تل tul तुल्य S̱. adj. Alike, like. تل بيٿهنا tul baiṭhnā, 1. To be weighed against valuable things, which are to be given in alms. 2. To sit straight and compact (as in a boat which might be overset by sitting uneven or carelessly). تل رهنا tul rahnā, To stand front to front, ready for battle or opposed.

تائيد tāʼīd A (inf. ii. of ايد) s. f. 1. Aid, assistance. 2. Corroboration. (Plur. تائيدات).

ترقيم tarḳīm A (inf. ii. of رقم) s. f. Writing, noting. A. P. ترک turk, s. m. 1. A soldier. 2. A Musal- mān (properly, a Turk, which in Persian takes many other meanings. Sans. तुरष्क). ترک چشم turk-chashm, A murdering or captivating eye. ترک سوار turk-sawār, s. m. A horseman, a cavalier. ترک مزاج turk-mizāj, adj. Wicked, sly; depraved. (Plur. ترکان turkān).

تارک tārik A (from ترک) part. act. Leaving; a deserter. تارک الدنيا tāriku-d-dunyā, 1. adj. Abandoning the world, abstinent, sober, chaste. 2. s. m. An anchoret, a hermit.

تسبيح tasbīḥ A (inf. ii. of سبح Heb. He praised) s. f. 1. The act of praising God. 2. A rosary, a chaplet of beads (not applied to a Hindū rosary). تسبيح خانه tasbīḥ-ḵẖāna, A chapel. تسبيح خوان tasbīḥ-ḵẖẉān, 1. Saying prayers. 2. A person hired to pray for ano- ther, a private chaplain. تسبيح خواني tasbīḥ- ḵẖẉān-ī, The office of a chaplain.
