توڙٿا toṛnā त्रोटन S̱. v. a. 1. To break, tear, rend, burst, split, demolish. 2. To change (money), to pluck or gather (fruit, flowers, &c.), to reduce (in arithmetick). دم توڙنا dam toṛnā, To be at the point of death. روٿي توڙنا roṭī toṛnā, To eat the bread of idleness. توڙنا جوڙنا toṛnā joṛnā (to break and to join) expresses absolute power over any thing.

تمسخر tamasḵẖur A s. m. Buffoonery, joking.

تڙتڙاهٿ taṛtaṛāhaṭ H (from تڙتڙانا) s. f. The act of dropping. P.H. تڙکنا taṛaknā (from ترکيدن) v. n. To be crack- ed, to be split, to burst, to crack.

تنک तनुक tanuk S or tanak or tanik, adj. or adv. Slight, small, a little. adv. Slightly.

تيرمار tīr-mār P s. A viper, or its tooth.

تمغا tamg̠ẖā P s. m. 1. A stamp on gold, silver, &c. or a brand or mark on an animal. 2. A tax on travellers. 3. A royal grant or charter.

ترکهاونت tr̤ikh̤ā-want S (from ترکها) adj. Thirsty.

تنگي tang-ī P s. f. 1. Straitness, tightness, nar- rowness; distress, poverty, want. 2. A bag, a sack. تنگي کرنا tangī karnā, To be parsimo- nious. S. تنو तनु or तनू tanu or tanū, s. f. The body. See تن tan.

تنه tana P s. m. 1. A stalk, stock, trunk, stem. 2. A spiderʼs web.
