ترچها tirchhā तिर्य्यच् S̱. adj. 1. Crooked, across, bent, oblique, awry, askaunt. 2. Per- verse. 3. Affected, foolish. ترچها ديکهنا tirchhā dekhnā, To squint, to look askaunt. ترچها لگنا tirchhā lagnā, v. n. To strike obliquely, to glance. ترچهي آنکهـ کرنا tirchhī ānkh karnā, To look angrily, to cast unkind looks. ترچهي نظر tirchhī naz̤ar, Leer, ogle, side glance, squint.

تهمڙا thamṛā H adj. Thick, corpulent.

تقديم taḳdīm A (inf. ii. of قدم) s. f. Giving pre- cedence, priority, precedence, performance. تقديم کرنا taḳdīm karnā, To perform, to put be- fore, to give precedence to.

ته نال tah-nāl P s. m. The mounting at the up- per end of a scabbard.

تينتيس taiṅtīs S̱. (see تيتيس) adj. Thirty three.

ترهي turhī H s. f. A trumpet, a clarion.

تکوا takūʼā S̱. s. m. A spindle. See تکلا taklā.

تهتهني thuthnī थोथ S̱. s. f. The mouth of a horse, camel, &c.

تابستاني tābistān-ī P adj. Of summer, like sum- mer, pleasant as the summer.

تاننا tānnā S̱. (तनन r. तन Stretch out) v. a. To extend, to stretch, to expand, to pull, to knit (the eyebrows). تنبوتاننا tambū tānnā, To pitch tents.
