تمانا tumānā H (caus. of تومنا) v. a. To cause to be carded.

تگرگ tagarg P s. m. Hail.

تڙتڙانا taṛtaṛānā H v. n. 1. To trickle, to drop, to patter, to bluster, to welter. 2. To warp or crack with noise (as, a plank exposed to the sun).

تذبذب taẕabẕub A (inf. ii. of ذبذب) s. Agita- tion, commotion, palpitation; vacillation, sus- pension of judgment, ambiguity.

تعليل taﻌlīl A (inf. ii. of علت) s. f. 1. Causing one to make an excuse, occasioning. 2. Changing one of the weak letters for another (in gram- mar). Plur. تعليلات.

تابوت tābūt A s. m. f. 1. A coffin, a bier. 2. The ark of the covenant, presented by God to Adam, and which (according to Muhammadans) contained the portraits of all the prophets. تابوت گر tābūt-gar, Coffinmaker, undertaker.

ترکيب tarkīb A (inf. ii. of رکب) s. f. Composi- tion, mixture, cement, make, form, fashion, me- chanism. ترکيب بند tarkīb-band, A kind of poem. ترکيب دار tarkīb-dār, Well-formed. ترکيب کرنا tarkīb karnā, To organize. (Plur. ترکيبات tarkībāt, Mixtures, compositions).

تقطيع taḳt̤iﻌ A (inf. ii. of قطع) s. f. 1. The cæsura or pause in reading poetry. 2. Scan- ning of verse. 3. Cutting into parts, dissection.
