تغمه tag̠ẖma A s. m. A mark which artists put on their productions, device on a shield, arms or armorial bearings, a medal.

تهپڙي thapṛī H s. f. The clapping of hands. تهپڙي بجانا thapṛī-bajānā, To clap the hands. تهپڙي مارنا thapṛī mārnā, To damn, to hoot.

تلقين talḳīn A (inf. ii. of لقن) s. f. Instructing, instruction, informing, religious instruction; prayer over the dead at the time of interment. تلقين کرنا talḳīn karnā, To instruct, to in- form, to teach. تلقين هونا talḳīn honā, To be instructed.

تهوهر thūhar H s. m. The name of a plant. (Euphorbia neriifolia. Roxb.).

تموج tamauwuj A (inf. v. of موج) s. m. Agitation, billowing or fluctuation (of water).

تهوک thūk H s. m. Spittle. تهوک چاٿنا thūk chāṭnā, To break oneʼs promise. تهوک دينا thūk denā, To leave, to give up. تهوک لگاکرچهوڙنا thūk lagākar chhoṛnā, To treat with sovereign contempt. تهوک لگانا thūk lagānā, To apply spittle. (A term of abuse and of most indecent meaning).

تقدس taḳaddus A (inf. v. of قدس) s. m. Purity, sanctity, holiness.

تره tara P s. m. Garden-herbs, pottage, greens. تره فروش tara-farosh, A green-grocer.

تپيدن tapīdan P s. m. Palpitating, flouncing, agitation, tremour. تپيدن وار tapīdan-wār, adj. Agitated, troubled. S. تت तत् (or तद्) tat, pron. dem. That.
