تکليف taklīf A (inf. ii. of کلف) s. f. 1. Cere- mony. 2. Imposition of a burthen. 3. Trou- ble, difficulty, molestation, distress, inconve- nience, ailment, affliction, annoyance. (Plur. تکليفات taklīfāt). تکليف دينا taklīf denā, To annoy, molest, incommode, trouble. تکليف کرنا taklīf karnā, To take the trouble.

تـﮩرانا tihrānā H v. a. To tertiate, to do the third time, to triple.

تـﮩتک tahattuk A (inf. v. of هتک) s. m. 1. (Orig. but not used in Hind.) The being torn (a veil, &c.). 2. Disgrace, dishonour.

تڙايا taṛāyā H s. m. Gaudiness in dress, wearing smart clothes. تڙايا دار taṛāyā-dār, s. m. One who dresses well and is particular in having fine and well made clothes.

تهکهاٴي thuk-hāʼī H (from تهوک) adj. Base, contemptible (q. d. fit to be spit upon).

تماچه tamācha P. s. m. A slap, a blow. See طمانچه t̤amāncha. H.S̱. تماخرامارنا tamāḵẖrā mārnā, v. a. (inelegant) 1. To reproach in jest. 2. To put on airs of consequence in poverty.

تکوا takūʼā S̱. s. m. A spindle. See تکلا taklā.

تقدم taḳaddum A (inf. v. of قدم) s. m. Priority.

تعزير taﻌzīr A (inf. ii. of عزر) s. f. Punishment, correction, reproof, censure, reprimand.

تواتر tawātur A (inf. vi. of وتر) s. m. Continuation, succession.
