تڙپنا taṛapnā H or تڙپهنا taṛaphnā, v. n. 1. To flutter, palpitate, flounce, be agitated, writhe, jump, spring, bound, wriggle, toss. 2. To be very desirous about any thing.

تراو tirāʼo S̱. or tarāʼo (from ترانا) s. m. Swim- ming.

تکه takka P s. m. A goat. تکه ريش takka-rīsh, Beard on the chin only like a goat. تکه ريشي takka-rīsh-ī, s. f. The state of having beard on the chin only as the goat. S̱. تکهار तुषार tukh̤ār, s. m. Ice, snow, or frost. See تسار tusār.

تهرتهرنا thartharnā H v. n. To tremble, quiver, shiver, shake.

تاز tāz P 1. part. act. (from تاختن) in compos. Running, hastening. 2. s. Assault, attack, race, running. تازوتگ tāz o tag, Toil and labour.

تهلتهلانا thal thalānā H v. n. To undulate, to fluctuate as a thick or glutinous fluid, to shake as the flabby flesh of a fat man. H.S̱. تهل تهل کرنا thal thal karnā, v. n. To undulate, to fluctuate as a thick or glutinous fluid, to shake as the flabby flesh of a fat man.

تجدد tajaddud A (inf. v. of جدّ) s. m. (from جدّ) Renewal, novelty.

تکفين takfīn A (inf. ii. of کفن) s. f. Putting on the winding sheet, laying in the coffin, &c. shrouding, sepulture. تکفين کرنا takfīn karna, To shroud, to coffin.

توپچي top-chī T s. m. A conductor of artillery, a commissary of ordnance, bombardier.

تيغا teg̠ẖā P. s. m. A short, broad scimitar. تيغا نما teg̠ẖā-numā, A sword like a scimitar.
