پساچ पिशाच pisāch S s. m. An evil spirit of a particular class, a demon, a spectre.

پهڙيا phuṛiyā S̱. (dimin. of پهوڙا) s. f. A sore, a pimple, a bile.

پودنا podnā H s. m. The name of a bird. (Sylvia olivacea).

پچاسي pachāsī पंचाशीति S̱. adj. Eighty five.

پنچالي panchāl-ī H s. f. Artifice, cunning, &c.

پالکري pā-lakrī H s. f. Blocks of wood placed un- der the feet of a bed to raise it. (It is the cus- tom to have two such blocks ready to raise the head of a bed, to give it a sloping position).

پهرکي phirkī S̱. (see پهرنا) s. f. A whirligig, any thing turning as on an axis.

پتيلا patīlā H s. m. A pan, a pot.

پوددار poddār P. (Pers. فوطه دار) s. m. A person whose business it is to assay coin or to examine whether it is sterling or not, an examiner of coin; also, a cash-keeper, a clerk whose business is to reckon and examine money.
