پکا pakkā पक्व S̱. adj. 1. Ripe, mature, matured. 2. Boiled, dressed (opposite to raw), cooked, baked (as bricks), made of brick. 3. Cunning, knowing, instructed, firm, strong, proved, expert. پکاکرنا pakkā karnā, To establish a claim, agree- ment, or proposition, so that no doubt or subject of dispute can remain.

پيٿارتهو peṭārthū S̱. (पेट and अर्थी Desirous, r. अर्थ Ask for) adj. Gluttonous, epicurean.

پوڙها pauṛhā H adj. Wide, broad.

پردچهنا pradachh̤inā S̱. (or pradakh̤inā) s. f. Going round an object to which respect is intended with the right always towards it (a religious ceremony), circuit, circumambulation.

پهرچها pharchhā H adj. Pure, honest, fair, can- did, fair (not cloudy). پهرچهاکرنا pharchhā- karnā, v. a. To clean, to settle, to sweep.

پيکهنا pekhnā प्रेक्षण S̱. v. a. To see.

پات pāt पत्र S̱. s. m. 1. A leaf. 2. An orna- ment worn in the upper part of the ear. 3. A draught or check on a banker. پاتون آلگنا pā- toṅ-ā-lagnā, applied to trees, indicates the fall of their leaves in autumn: metaphorically, the phrase signifies that oneʼs power or ability is exhausted; and, this expression is often applied to patience exhausted by the scorn of a beloved person; or, to a destitute condition from ad- verse fortune.
