پسارنا pasārnā प्रसारण S̱. v. a. To spread, distend, stretch out, reach, extend, expand, open, display.

پياده piyāda P (Sans. पदाति) s. m. A foot- man, one on foot, a foot soldier, a pawn at chess. پياده پا piyāda-pā, adv. A foot, on foot. پياده پائي piyāda-pā-ī, s. f. The being a foot, tra- velling on foot.

پانـﮩر pānhar H s. m. A kind of reed.

پوريا pauriyā S̱. (from پور paur, q. v.) s. m. A door-keeper, a porter.

پهڙکنا phaṛaknā H v. n. To flutter, to vibrate with convulsive involuntary motion, as the eyelids and other muscles; to throb, to palpitate; to writhe (the shoulders, &c.).

پردمن pardamun प्रद्युम्न S̱. n. prop. Kāma (or Cupid) son of Kr̤ish̤ṇa and husband of Rati.

پلساٿ pilsāṭ S̱. (from پيلا pīlā, q. v.) s. f. Yellowness. P.A. پل سراط pul-sirāt̤, s. m. The bridge over which Musalmāns believe they must pass into paradise.

پيراهن pairāhan P s. m. A long robe, a shirt or shift. (Sans. परिधान To wear (clothes).

پاچهي pāchhe S̱.

پينڐ penḍ S̱. or painḍ (पंड) s. f. 1. Pace, step. 2. A rising ground, an eminence.
