پلانا palānā S (पलायन from परा and r. अय Move) v. n. To flee, run away, escape.

پلٿنا palaṭnā H v. n. To return, to turn back, to retreat; to overturn, to rebound; to change. H.S̱. پلٿهامارنا palṭhā mārnā, v. n. To sit down on the ground resting on the buttocks.

پاپي पापा pāp-ī S adj. m. A sinner, a criminal.

پيچهي pīchhe S̱. (from پيچها) adv. In the rear, after, behind, ago, after- wards, astern, in the absence. پيچهي پڙنا pīchhe paṛnā, 1. To dance attendance, to run after, to importune, to dun, to persecute, to torment. 2. To be outstripped. پيچهي ڐالنا pīchhe ḍālnā,

پٿا paṭṭā पट्ट S̱. s. m. A deed, particularly a title deed to land or a deed of lease. پٿّاتڙانا paṭṭā tuṛānā, To flee, run away.

پون paun S̱. or pawan (पवन) 1. s. f. Air, wind. 2. pawan, s. m. Regent of the winds and of the N.W. quarter. پون چکي pawan-chakkī, s. f. A windmill. پون کوپوت pawan kau pūt, Son of Pawan, i. e. Hanūmān.
