پهري pharī H s. f. One of several fishes.

پهٿ پڙنا phaṭ paṛnā S̱. v. n. 1. To be produced plentifully. 2. To become fat suddenly. 3. To be confounded with too much business. آسمان پهٿ پڙنا āsmān phaṭ paṛnā, v. n. To rain hard.

پربين प्रवीण prabīn S or prawīṇ, adj. Skilful, intelligent, accomplished, knowing, clever.

پازهر pā-zahr P s. m. An antidote to poison, be- zoar. See پادزهر pād-zahr.

پلانا palānā S (पलायन from परा and r. अय Move) v. n. To flee, run away, escape.

پنياٴي punyāʼī S̱. (from पुण्य) s. f. 1. A vir- tuous action, performed (according to those who hold the doctrine of the metempsychosis) in one state of existence, the reward of which is received in a future transmigration. 2. Merit of an ancestor rewarded in his descendants.

پسو pasū S̱. or pasu (पशु) s. m. A beast, an ani- mal. پسوپالک pasu-pālak, s. m. A cowherd.

پويه poya P s. m. A canter, or hand-gallop. پويون چلنا poyoṅ chalnā, v. n. To canter, &c.

پهنيا phuniyā H s. f. Penis puerilis.
