پابند pā-band P 1. s. m. A rope with which the forefeet of a horse are tied. (Sans. पादबंध). 2. adj. Clogged, fettered, bound. پابندهونا pā- band-honā, v. n. (Met.) To be married.

پهانکي phānkī फक्किका S̱. s. f. An objection (in logick).

پرسنا parasnā P. (from پرستيدن) v. a. To wor- ship.

پرهيز parhez P (from پرهيختن or پرهيزيدن) s.m. Ab- stinence, forbearance, continence, abstaining or keeping aloof, control of the passions, caution, sobriety. بدي پرهيز badī-parhez, Abstaining from evil. پرهيزکرنا parhez karnā, v. a. 1. To control oneʼs passions. 2. To abstain (from), to keep aloof, or be on oneʼs guard (from), to avoid. 3. To observe a regimen.

پهلکا phulkā S̱. (from फुल्ल A flower, blown as a flower) 1. adj. Inflated, puffed up; light. 2. s. m. A blister. 3. A kind of cake or small loaf. 4. An area or arena for wrestlers.
