پکڙانا pakṛānā H (caus. of پکڙنا) v. a. 1. To cause to be caught, seized or laid hold of. 2. To de- liver over, to give in charge, to hand. H.P. پکڙبندي pakaṛ-bandī, s. f. Objection: see گرفت girift.

پـﮩنانا pahnānā S̱. or pahinānā (causal of پـﮩنا pa- hannā, q. v.) v. a. To dress, to cause to put on.

پيچ وتاب pech-o-tāb P s. m. Restlessness, alarm, suspense, perplexity, folds, twisting and twining, contortion, knots. پيچ تاب کهانا pech-tāb khānā, To suffer distress or anxiety, to be vexed, to twist or twine.

پندرهوين pandrahwīṅ पंचदशी S̱. s. f. The fifteenth day of a half month, full or new moon.

پکهڙي pakhṛī H s. f. A petal or flower-leaf.

پيراٴي pairā-ī P s. f. in compos. Adorning.

پهلنگ phalang S̱. (लंघन r. लघ Leap, spring) s. A bound, spring, leap, jump.

پاهني pāhun-ī प्राघुणीक S̱. s. f. A female guest.

پهپهولا phapholā S̱. (स्फोट) s. m. A blister. پهپهولي پهوٿني phaphole phūṭne, v. n. To be blistered; it is used to express the mind being blistered, to be afflicted. پهپهولي دل کي پهوڙني phaphole dil ke phoṛne, To satisfy a revenge that has long been rankling in oneʼs breast.

پنڐا panḍā S̱. (perhaps, for पंडित) s. m. A minister who presides at the temple of an idol. S. P. پنڐارا pinḍārā (पिंड Lump of food, and آر Bringer) s. m. A plunderer, a pillager (among Mahārāttas).
