پتيا pitiyā पितृव्य S. s. m. A paternal uncle, a fatherʼs brother.

پشنگ pashang P s. Name of the father and of the son of Afrāsiyāb, also of a warriour of Īrān, a long piercing instrument with which builders make holes in walls, a woollen cloth or a plank prepared with a piece of wood at each end on which bricks, clay, &c. are drawn, tyranny, op- pression, labour, exuding (of water, &c.).

پهـﮩرانا phahrānā स्फुरण S̱. v. n. To fly (as, a flag in the air), to flutter.

پنا pinnā पिण्याक S̱. s. m. A cake of mus- tard seed remaining after the expression of the oil, and given to cows, &c. for food.
